Our team started working together in 2003 on ideas for the next generation of production planning software. In 2004 the first version of WellSpring came to life. Enersight's executive team has over 30 years of petroleum economic software development experience:

Neil Buckley - President. With over 15 years in oil and gas software, Neil has touched on many aspects of the production software business. After an 11 year career at Merak/Schlumberger, Neil was CEO of OpenSpirit Corporation for nearly three years starting in year 2000. Neil is President of Enersight and also develops the application framework for WellSpring.

Deane Stewart - Technology. Deane started his career as a reservoir and planning engineer with Petro-Canada in 1987, followed by a 9-year tenure finishing as Chief Technology Officer for Merak in 2000. After helping to found Enersight in 2003, Deane develops Enersight's user interface and calculation engine.

Dan Magyar - Business Development. Subsequent to getting his MBA, Dan joined Merak and gained extensive experience in international petroleum economics in London. Over a 6 year period with Merak and Schlumberger, Dan held several leadership positions including CFO of Merak and President of IndigoPool.com. Dan ia a Mechanical Engineer and joined Enersight in 2004.

Don Merritt - Canada Sales. Don is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the U of A and a Professional Engineer. After beginning his career as a reservoir Engineer for Petro-Canada, Don started Merak's Asia office and worked extensively with international and government oil companies. Don also held various management and marketing positions with Schlumberger in Australia, Indonesia and Canada. Don joined Enersight in 2008.

Peter Tyler - USA Sales. Peter is an engineer with over 10 years of experience in petroleum economics software with Merak, Enevative Solutions, and Schlumberger. He has extensive experience with petroleum fiscal regimes around the world. Peter joined Enersight in 2008.
