Byproduct/Injected Water Extractions

WellSpring has the ability to extract all of the instream components in the gas stream at any facility. There are a number of reasons that you might want to extract products:

Extract water to injection
Extract NGL's at a plant
Extract CO2
Extract H2S to produce Sulfur at a plant

To set up extractions for a facility, highlight the facility and choose "Extraction" from the URL menu:

This displays the Extractions dialog:

You can specify extraction of each of the components as well as a fuel/flare percentage. Note: If you are using fuel and flare in the extraction process, then you should not specify a shrinkage in the Byproducts screen.

Using this capability, and product can be separated from the flow stream and sent to a different pipeline or facility:

To extract and inject water:

Set water extraction to 100% at desired facility
Add injection facility
Add pipeline from extraction facility to injection facility
Select product = "water" for pipeline

This setup will allow you to remove all water from the stream, and send it to an injection well.
