 Editing Price Sets                                                                                              

When you are in the price file editor, the screen will look like this:

Note: Depending on the type of price file (Par, Select, reference), the editing interface will change.  Only the "Base" price file gives you a complete year/by year price definition as shown below.




To Create a new price set

To create a new price set:

  1. Click the New button
  2. Edit the price file
  3. Enter a name
  4. Save


To Change an existing price set

To change an existing price set:

  1. Select the price you want to edit
  2. Make the editing changes
  3. Save
  4. The price is now updated for any projects linked to that price file

Price editing Tip: to copy data down a column - use the "Duplicate All" bottom on the right hand side of the row.

Rename an existing price set

To rename an existing price set:

Select the price you want to rename

  1. Type in the new price file name
  2. Save
  3. The price is now renamed for all projects linked to that price file

*Important: WellSpring does not use the name of the price file to establish the link to a price file, so renaming will not affect any links to that price file. 

To Copy an existing price set

To copy and existing price set:

  1. Select the price set to copy
  2. Hit the copy button
  3. Enter a name for the new price set
  4. Save

*Note: Although calculations in WellSpring are monthly, price files are currently with only yearly data.
