Gas Composition
Select "Data - Gas Composition" from the main menu to bring up the gas composition dialog:
Gas composition can be entered by component. If the values do not add to 100%, then you can use the Normalize function. You can also change the composition by cumulative production by adding additional rows and entering the cumulative production.
Heat Content
WellSpring will automatically calculate the heat content based on the gas composition. This can be overridden by selecting the "Override" box. As the sales price is on an energy basis, you may want to override the heating if you have H2S in stream (which adds to the heating value) which is not sold instream.
Note: If you are using gas composition, you should not be using yields and vice versa
