 Opcost Definitions                                                                                              

Operating cost definitions are customizable in WellSpring.  To change the opcost definitions go to "Admin - Opcost Definitions".



The following Operating Cost Definition screen will appear:


To change your operating Cost definition:

  1. Copy an existing set (or create a new record)
  2. Name the opcost set
  3. Click on "Add Definition" to create additional rows of opex
  4. Select the product that it applies to
  5. Choose the opcost type (see list below)
  6. Specify whether or not it is an eligible royalty deduction
  7. Provide a description (optional)
  8. Save when you are done
  9. You must modify the economic model to link your new definitions to your economic models (See Economic Models)

  Fixed - $1000/month
Variable - $/unit of production mcf, Bbl etc
Per Well - $/well (uses well count)
HorsePower - $/unit of Horsepower
Capital OH - Overhead % of capital spent
Operating OH - Overhead % of total opex
Fluid - $/unit of total fluid
NGL - $/unit of Natural gas Liquid
Heating Value - $/unit of heat
   

 Note: If you wish to change the operating cost, or capital definitions, you must have your own custom model which Enersight can quickly create for you. Please contact Enersight (Support@enersight.com) for more information.
