 Updating Existing Prices

To update prices that you already have in WellSpring, you can do the following.

  1. Find out what your default prices are (project prices may be different).  From the WellSpring main menu choose Tools - Options, and look at the default section (lower left corner of the screen):

  2. Note the name of that price file.
  3. Check at the project level, to ensure that it is using the same prices (See Selecting Price Files for a Project) to set the price file for the project.
  4. Edit the price file by following the steps below.

Open the price editing screen:

  1. Select Admin from the main menu
  2. Choose "Price Sets" on the drop down menu

When you are in the price file editor, the screen will look like this:

Note: Depending on the type of price file (Par, Select, reference), the editing interface will change.  Only the "Base" price file gives you a complete year/by year price definition as shown below.

You can copy your prices from a spreadsheet, and right click to paste them here.

Note that although WellSpring calculations are all monthly, the price inputs are currently at a yearly level.
