| User Data - Project or Asset Level |  |
Unique user data can exist at each individual asset. Project level data can be unique to the project, or span across all (Wells, Facilities, or Consolidations).
Asset User Data
To create or edit Asset user data, select an asset (well, facility, or scenario) then select "User Data" from the sub menu on the Network tab, or by selecting "Data - User defined Data" from the main menu. Note that this data will be unique to the asset selected.
At the bottom of the user data popup editor, is a hyperlink:
Add/edit user data defined for this asset only.
Clicking this will take you to the user data admin editor, displaying only user data defined for that specific asset or hierarchy. Unlike user data at the company level, only read/write access to the project is required.
If a table is defined at the asset level, then the "Edit table definition" link on that table's data entry tab is enabled, and this takes you to editing that table's definition in one click. Clicking the popup's "Back" button will return you to data entry on that table.
Project User Data
Project User Data can be assigned to Wells, Facilities, or Consolidations. To create or edit this user data, select the project name from the data tab, then click on "edit" next to the "User Defined Data"
At the bottom of the user data popup editor, is a hyperlink:
Add/edit user data defined for this asset only.
Clicking this will take you to the user data admin editor, displaying only user data defined for the project. Unlike user data at the company level, only read/write access to the project is required.
To set this parameter at the well level, choose "Well" from the "Asset Type Filter". An example of this type of data might be well Depth, or choke size. It can also be set at the Facility, Scenario, Project or Consolidation level.
To enter this data, choose your well, facility, scenario or consolidation and click on user data.
